MY STORY

IMG_2517_edited.jpg

Maggie Doherty is a singer-songwriter from Saratoga Springs, New York.

She grew up singing in a musical family and honed an ear for pitch, tone and harmony performing with her mom and aunts in packed bars on the Saratoga music circuit. She started and fronted her own acts in high school performing covers for rowdy racetrack tourists in downtown Saratoga.

As an artist, Maggie has developed a versatile, skilled and soulful vocal delivery moving easily between pop, country/folk, r&b, and rock. She currently fronts several acts including her solo act and bands in both her native New York Capital Region and the Tri-State area.

Maggie released her first original EP "Night Words" in the fall of 2025, described as containing "poetic honesty and soulful vocals" with storytelling that feels "intimate and timeless" by WEXT Radio.

Credits include opening sets for Allman Betts Band, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Adam Lambert, Twenty One Pilots and Third Eye Blind; singing the National Anthem at Citi Field for the New York Mets and at the Saratoga Race Course on Travers Stakes Day. She regularly performs with Erin Willett of NBC’s The Voice, including acoustic trio gigs and wedding and venue gigs at The Knitting Factory, Arlene’s Grocery, Rockwood Music Hall and Bowery Electric as part of NYC-based tour de force, The Chromantics.
